Ruminant Health Research and Education Trust

You can support Ruminant Health Research and Education

Veterinary science on the front line can only be fully effective when supported by the best research, training and clinical services available. We invite you to join with us in securing the future of ruminant health in Australia by contributing to the Ruminant Health Research and Education Trust.

The Trust funds will enable the University's researchers to quickly address emerging and topical animal health problems, providing quicker information and strategies for producers and their veterinarians in dealing with emerging problems. New disease conditions and variations of existing problems arise frequently, such as the recent problems with Theileriosis in Victorian cattle.

Students and veterinary teachers will benefit through Trust funds being used to provide increased opportunities to learn ruminant medicine, including access to innovations in teaching and veterinary equipment, such as the latest in ultrasound scanning.

Ruminant livestock such as cattle, sheep and goats will benefit from the Trust-funded activities resulting in improved animal health and welfare.
