Whether you've finished high school and you're not sure what you want to do in the future, or if you're already in the workforce and want to advance your career with additional qualifications, the Diploma in General Studies (DiGS) is a great option for you.
- Two intakes: Semester 1 (apply via VTAC), Semester 2 (apply directly)
- Duration: 1 year full-time (approx 20 contact hours a week), or 2 years part-time (approx 10 contact hours a week)

Our picturesque Dookie campus in the Goulburn Valley is situated in Victoria’s north, near Shepparton. The region is known for its stunning views of Mt Major, its wineries, nature and wildlife, an ideal setting for you to experience tertiary study.
On campus you’ll discover the 2440-hectare property and surrounds which also houses the research farm, including a winery, grazing and cropping areas, orchard and seed bank, and chat with researchers on-site who are exploring critical issues such as food security, biodiversity and water efficiency.
Facilities and accommodation
Be sure to take advantage of Dookie’s many recreational facilities on offer. These include a swimming pool, gym, tennis and basketball courts, cricket nets, sports grounds, squash courts, and even horse club facilities if you would like to house your equine friend on campus!
Dookie campus offers flexible and convenient living arrangements. You may choose to live on campus full-time or for only part of the week with around 50 other students. Classrooms are within close walking distance from your accommodation.
