The student experience

During your studies, enjoy a unique student lifestyle being surrounded by nature, the close-knit and supportive community of staff and students and the convenience of optional on-campus accommodation, recreational and study facilities.

Supportive learning

The support of staff, small class sizes and both face-to-face and online learning provide a learning environment that allows you to access support and form important study networks.

The location

Our picturesque Dookie campus in the Goulburn Valley is situated in Victoria’s north, near Shepparton.  The region is known for its stunning views of Mt Major, its wineries, nature and wildlife, an ideal setting for you to experience tertiary study.

On campus you’ll discover the 2440-hectare property and surrounds which also houses the research farm, including a winery, grazing and cropping areas, orchard and seed bank, and chat with researchers on-site who are exploring critical issues such as food security, biodiversity and water efficiency.

Facilities and accommodation

Be sure to take advantage of Dookie’s many recreational facilities on offer. These include a swimming pool, gym, tennis and basketball courts, cricket nets, sports grounds, squash courts, and even horse club facilities if you would like to house your equine friend on campus!

Dookie campus offers flexible and convenient living arrangements. You may choose to live on campus full-time or for only part of the week with around 50 other students.  Classrooms are within close walking distance from your accommodation.
