Arthur Sims Scholarship


The scholarship was established in 1949 by Sir Arthur Sims (18-77-1969), a New Zealand born industrialist who established land and business interests throughout the British Commonwealth and established scholarships in Australia and Canada.  The scholarship is awarded on the basis of the highest average mark in final year animal science subjects.

This prize is awarded to the Bachelor of Agriculture student in their third year with the highest average mark in animal science subjects.

This prize is determined by the FVAS Scholarships Committee.

Payments are made after the Semester 1 census date.


Recipients are expected to attend an award ceremony. Failure to attend (without extenuating circumstances) may result in cancellation of the payment.
