Cecil C Taylor Bursary
Cecil Claude Taylor bequeathed funds to the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences to establish a trust to award bursaries to students in financial need.
If you are a full-time student planning to study at Dookie in your second or third year of the Bachelor of Agriculture, and are able to demonstrate financial need, this bursary could assist with your study and living expenses.

To be eligible for this bursary you must:
- be enrolled in full-time study in the Bachelor of Agriculture
- be planning or enrolled in the Dookie Semester option in your second year of study in 2018. You will be required to be enrolled in at least 37.5 points at the Dookie campus. You are also eligble if you are studying at Dookie in your third year (no points limit)
- be able to demonstrate financial need
Terms & Conditions
This bursary will be paid in one instalment and will be completed by Melbourne Scholarships. Payments usually take a couple of weeks to be processed after confirmation.
All award recipients are required to maintain an academic status of good standing in their course. If your rating changes to 'at risk', you may be required to provide the FVAS scholarship committee with details of what has occurred in your studies causing you to fail. You may also be required to reimburse the Faculty any monies awarded to you.
If you receive a bursary and then do not study at Dookie in Semester 2 2018, you will be required to return the full amount of the bursary to the Faculty.

Applicants must provide demonstration of socioeconomic/financial hardship
Applicants should include a statement of no more than 200 words that details the socioeconomic/financial hardship. The table below shows the types of additional documentation that can also be used to support your application. Please note that the applicant's family name and address must be on the documentation.
