William Buckland Foundation Residential Scholarship

Introduction

Established in 2014, The William Buckland Foundation Residential Scholarship Program seeks to assist students from rural and regional Victoria in accessing higher education to complete studies in Agriculture and Land Management.

It is awarded by the William Buckland Foundation in conjunction with St Hilda’s College, Queens College and Trinity College to provide residential support for undergraduate agriculture students.

If you are from a rural or regional area of Victoria and commencing a Bachelor of Agriculture, this scholarship could assist you with your accomodation expenses during your three years of study. Scholarship Value

Valued at over $50,000*

Up to three scholarships are available.

Scholarship recipients will receive annual payments for a period of three years. The total value of the scholarship is dependent on the college the student accepts a place at.

Terms & Conditions

Scholarship Payments

Annual scholarships are paid in two instalments, after semester one and semester two census dates.

  • Amounts are payable on a pro-rata basis if enrolment is less than full time*

* Full-time enrolment constitutes at least 37.5 points in one half-year period.

Conditions

Scholarship recipients are expected to attend an award ceremony. Failure to attend (without extenuating circumstances) may result in cancellation of the scholarship.

Students are expected to maintain ‘good standing’ in their course. This means not being identified as at risk of, or making, unsatisfactory progress.
