Victorian Poultry Welfare Research Prize (Application Required)

Introduction

Established by the World Poultry Science Association-Victorian branch to support students undertaking research projects on poulty welfare

If you are currently studying or commencing a  Bachelor of Agriculture (Honours) or Master of Agricultural Science, and can demonstrate academic achievement, this scholarship could assist you financially with study and living expenses.

Scholarship Value

Award value: $1000

Duration: one off payment

Eligibility

To be eligible for this prize you must:

  • be studying or commencing a  Bachelor of Agriculture (Honours) or Master of Agricultural Science
  • demonstrate Acedmic Merit and potential to succeed
  • express interest in poultry welfare
  • provide  details of proposed project that includes potential impact and relevance to improve poultry welfare.

Payments

This prize is paid in a one-off payment after the standard Semester One census date.

Conditions

Recipients are expected to attend an award ceremony. Failure to attend (without extenuating circumstances) may result in cancellation of the prize

How to apply

Please attach your statement as a typed document, no more than one page in length, addressing your interest in poulty welfare and the quality of your proposed research based on its impact and relevance to improve poultry welfare.

Please provide details of academic merit
