Theme: Meeting of the minds
The Diploma in General Studies (Extended) program explores the relationship between land and culture, the science that allows plants and animals to grow and flourish, the management of environments and businesses and communication to succeed in work and study, bringing together science and traditional knowledge systems.
Please review the information provided in the current Diploma in General Studies (extended) flyer (PDF 4.1 MB), Study Hub and Handbook entry and design a piece of art that you feel reflects the program.
We ask you to visualise what comes to mind. Whether we are online or in-person, our community and connections are what we cherish in and beyond the classroom.
- Why is culture important to you?
- What does Yorta Yorta country offer you that makes living there so special?
- What feelings and images come to mind when you think about the land, food and the environment?
The judging panel will be looking for unique artwork that reflects the theme. The winning submission as judged by the panel will receive $500 Prepaid Visa card.
Note that the University may publish the winner's name on the University's social media channels and Staff Hub, Staff News and other University communications channels for promotional purposes.
The competition closes at 11.59pm Thursday, 11 November 2021.
