At this session, we will explore and demonstrate a variety of online tools and free resources available for designing engaging and impactful visualisations or infographics of your data and research. Basic design principles are discussed and you will receive a diverse range of references for further information.

Presenter: Lindy Cochrane

Lindy Cochrane is a liaison librarian in the Health & Life Sciences (MDHS & FVAS) team. She has a keen interest in data visualisation tools and graphic design and as part of her role creates engaging images/charts for use in learning objects and library guides. Lindy recently completed a course in Infographic design through Sydney TAFE and is currently working on a guide to link researchers to free online data visualisation resources and tools.
