Loxton Scholarship


This award was established with funds bequeathed by Francis Henry Loxton (d. 1959), to support students in agriculture and veterinary science.

If you are a male student commencing in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and can demonstrate academic achievement, this scholarship could assist you financially with study and living expenses.

Duration: payment each semester for three years

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • be male
  • be enrolling in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (via the Animal Health and Disease major [Veterinary Bioscience specialisation] in the third year of the Bachelor of Science), or
  • be enrolling as a graduate in the first year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

  • demonstrated academic merit
