Prize for Excellence in Agriculture

Introduction

Offered for the first time in 2019, the Prize for Excellence in Agriculture is supported by the Freemasons Foundation Victoria Limited (FFVL)

If you are entering the final year of the bachelor of agriculture, this prize could assist you with study and living expenses.

Prize Value

Up to $5000

Duration: one year

Eligibility

To be eligible for this prize, you must:

  • be enrolled in full-time study in the Bachelor of Agriculture and commencing in your final year (third year of the B-AGR)
  • be an Australian student
  • be a Victorian resident

Selection Criteria

The prize will be awarded to the third year Bachelor of Agriculture student with the highest weighted average mark at the end of their second year.

Terms & Conditions

Conditions

  • Students are expected to maintain ‘good standing’ in their course. This means not being identified as at risk of, or making, unsatisfactory progress.
  • Must not be in receipt of another scholarship or award with a value in excess of $5000.
  • Acceptance of the prize permits the FFVL and/or Freemasons Victoria (FMV) to use the name and a photo of the recipient in publication of the scholarship program.
